PERSONAL FILES

Wackiest training camp prank?
Brett Favre killed a goose and put it in a bag in front of Eric Barton’s locker.

Nickname?
Big Play Abe.

Tattoos?
I have 2. A picture of my sister, who I lost in 1999, on my shoulder and a motivational phrase in Chinese letters on my neck.

Best WR I’ve faced:
Anquan Boldin is a fierce competitor. Terrell Owens is very aggressive and explosive. Randy Moss has great hands. Larry Fitzgerald is just great.

Best defensive player I’ve played with:
DeMarcus Ware.

My biggest hits:
When I was with Dallas, we played the Texans and I was on special teams. I caught a guy on the kickoff and laid him out. The crowd went crazy and he just stayed there on the ground. Also I put a good hit on Justin Fargas of Oakland last year, and in 2007 I hit DeDe Dorsey of the Bengals so hard you could see paint chips fly off our helmets.

My best play (so far):
The 92-yard interception return for a touchdown I had in Buffalo. Or the strip sack I had against Buffalo at home that helped us win that game.

Closest friends in football:
Tony Fisher from Notre Dame and Green Bay. For the Jets, David Clowney, Drew Coleman and Kareem Brown, though I enjoy spending time with all my teammates. Also Bryant McFadden. I grew up with Anquan Boldin, Devin Hester and DaJuan Morgan.

Favorite food:
Oxtail.

Favorite movies:
“Inside Man.”

What’s in your iPod?
Some of everything, Jodeci, Rick Ross, Plies, Young Jeezy, The Dream.

Superstitions:
None. Work hard and good things will happen.

Best qualities for a person to have:
Trustworthy, disciplined and a commitment to excellence.

Charitable endeavors:
I’m just getting Team Elam off the ground. Our goal is to help inner-city, at-risk youth achieve their dreams.

My hero is:
Anybody who has overcome an adverse situation and turned it into a positive.
